My current research focuses on the development and characterization of
humidity sensors. The main experimental techniques and tools used in my
work include quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) measurements, confocal
microscopy, a custom-built gas delivery system for controlled humidity
generation, and contact angle measurements.

My research focuses on determining the photophysical properties of small-molecule chromophores, with potential applications in photovoltaics, and on analyzing the mechanism of electrical conductivity in thin films of carbon nanostructures, in the context of modern energy technologies. In my research, I utilize spectroscopic techniques such as UV-Vis, FTIR, and fluorescence spectroscopy. I fabricate thin films using techniques such as Langmuir and spin-coating, and characterize them using confocal microscopy.

Currently, I teach lectures, computational exercises, and physics laboratories for full-time and part-time students at Poznań University of Technology. As a supervisor, I supervise engineering theses in the Technical and IT Education program at Poznań University of Technology. Previously, when I was a research and teaching employee, I was involved in researching the influence of a magnetic field on biochemical reactions using the Magneto-Optical Differential Spectroscopy method.

My research focuses on the synthesis of gold nanoparticles and their surface functionalization. I investigate the influence of synthesis parameters and chemical modification on the structural, optical, and surface properties of nanoparticles. In particular, I am interested in designing hybrid systems based on gold nanoparticles and their applications in nanotechnology and functional materials.

My research focuses on carbon nanomaterials and thin films, with particular emphasis on carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and graphene. I specialize in the fabrication and characterization of ultrathin films using Langmuir and Langmuir–Schaefer techniques, investigating their electrical, optical, and mechanical properties. My work also includes studies of interactions between carbon nanomaterials and organic compounds, as well as the application of CNTs and graphene in transparent electrodes and energy storage systems such as Li-Ion and Na-Ion batteries. I also conduct low-temperature electrical transport characterization and investigate charge transport mechanisms in thin nanomaterial films.

My research focuses on model membrane systems that mimic the native biological membranes of prokaryotic and eukaryotic organisms. I employ an arsenal of techniques to measure the structural organization of lipid membranes (AFM, confocal microscopy), the dynamics of their constituent lipids (FRAP), and the physicochemical properties governing membrane interactions, stability, and functionality.

I am a background physicist with almost 20 years of laboratory research experience in soft matter biophysics and cell biology. My research interests cover a multidisciplinary range of biophysical topics, including the role of shear flow in haemostasis, mechanobiology at the cell/extracellular matrix interface, and the phase behaviour of model lipid-protein bilayers.

My scientific interests focus on analysing intermolecular interactions in lipid membranes to deepen understanding of the mechanisms governing their structure, dynamics, and biological functions. My current research interests particularly involve investigating the partitioning and orientation of guest molecules, as well as determining how environmental factors, such as the degree of hydration, and membrane architecture, influence these properties.
